Parle Agro Appoints Avadhut Parab as CIO

Avadhut Parab has moved on from pharmaceutical company Wockhardt and joined one of the leading beverage firms Parle Agro as Chief Information Officer.

He will be based out of Mumbai and report to the company’s CEO.

Parle Agro, houses brands such as Frooti, Appy, Appy Fizz and Bailley. Today, with over 5,000 employees, 76 manufacturing facilities, and more than 5,000 channel partners, the company’s products are available in the country through a network of 1.5 million+ outlets.

In this new role, Parab will be responsible for transforming the organization through digitization of IT & OT, cyber security and automation.

He was associated with Wockhardt for more than 17 years and in his last role with the company, he served as AVP-IT. Parab has more than 27 years of professional experience and has worked with companies like Atos and Unichem Laboratories in the past. He holds an MBA degree as well as a Bachelor degree in Engineering.
